    My name is Leo, I am a Front-End Developer from Bangor, Northern Ireland. My path has taken a few changes over the years - from doing 3 years I.C.T in college, to the last 12 years being a Commercial Diver. My passion and interest in web development has led me back to being a Front-end Developer.

    Mary Lynch Massage

    This was the first website that I made, I started this project when I felt confident enough with what I had learnt through lockdown in 2020. This was for a massage therapist who is based in Portugal.

    Comsec Diving is a commercial diving company based in Northern Ireland, the old website was slow and didn't work on mobile. It now has an appealing, simple, fast, and responsive UI for desktop and mobile.

    I made this website template as an example for any local businesses without a website for their gym.

    Pokedex API

    This is a complete Pokedex showing every pokemon with their stats, using a basic Pokemon API.

    Google Clone

    It shows the basic search functions that google uses using the google API, and a certain amount of serches per page when scrolling.

    Uber Clone

    You can put a current location and a desired destination and it will show current drivers available with a calculated price. Next step is to add driver location with ETA.

    My Journey

    In my journey to date, I have been learning a great amount about web development and continuously learning a great deal about life in general.

      2008

      Started my First Diploma for ICT Practitioners.

      2009

      Completed my First Diploma for ICT Practitioners in June.

      2009

      Started my National Diploma for ICT Practitioners in September.

      2011

      Finished the National Diploma in June, and found a passion for diving over the summer period.

      2011

      My summer hobby led me to start my first commercial diving course in September.

      2020

      Huge interest to get back in to coding and free time through lockdown got me doing a few freelance projects for clients.

      2021

      Continued to do online tutorials and freelance project in my spare time after work

      2022

      Still working as a commercial diver to present. I am actively seeking for a role in Front-End development.
